The Turner Family of Hampshire
Edward Holdsworth Turner was born on 14th December 1788, third son of Joseph Turner and Lydia (nee Wollstonecraft). When his children were born, he was earning his living as a "Dancing Master". He was also an actor, working in the theatres around Covent Garden, London and, in his later life, he became a theatrical agent.
